A Place for ReadersThe purpose of the Milan High School Book Club is to foster a culture of reading at MHS. Members come from all backgrounds, read a wide variety of genres, and have one thing common--they all love to read and talk about books. Rather than choose one book for discussion, members gather once a month and meet at genre tables to talk about whatever they are reading and are excited about. Coffee and breakfast is served and members are free to choose a different table each month. There is a fee of $10 (which buys a club t-shirt) and membership is open through Christmas. Talk to the librarian or one of the club officers for more information on joining.
